Mani Wonders Inc. is an emerging product design brand paving a niche in the fashion technology space. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Toronto team on a full-time basis. The incumbent thrives in championing brands, building relationships, creating positive experiences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the office.


  • Maintain positive and professional staff and client relationships; welcome and greet clients and office guests
  • Support office staff and executives with general operational tasks; perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties
  • Plan and schedule meetings, presentations, and other office related events; send reminders regarding upcoming appointments
  • Answer phones in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate persons or take detailed messages
  • Arrange social, corporate and team building events
  • Schedule travel arrangements
  • Manage communication of information in and out of the office; type out correspondence letters, emails, memos, etc. (paper and electronic); prepare outgoing mail and packages for executives
  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment; repair or replace malfunctioning equipment and hire technicians when required
  • Monitor office supplies; order and re-stock as needed
  • Ensure office is kept clean and organized at all times
  • High level of discretion required in dealing with confidential matters
  • Typical of any start-up, the ability to navigate ambiguity and mitigate it with creativity is crucial. With ambiguity comes the opportunity to develop new process and establish strong infrastructure


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2+ years experience as an administrative assistant
  • An individual who cares deeply about creating a unique brand experience
  • Fast, proficient, and accurate typist
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, other administrative programs and current technologies
  • Outstanding communicator, both orally and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-starter who works well independently
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience with complex file management
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Can-do attitude, self-driven and proactive, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Positive friendly demeanour, interpersonal with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
