Baylor University seeks an Assistant Professor of Britain and British Empire to start August 2023. Details for this position can be found here.   

The Department of History seeks a specialist in the history of Britain and British Empire, subfield in religion preferred, to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in this area. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R-1 institution and a willingness to seek external research funding.

Candidates should possess an earned doctorate by August 2023 in the appropriate field of study. You will be asked to provide a letter of interest; curriculum vitae; transcripts; and a list of three references. Applicants considered for interviews will be asked to provide a response to Baylor’s Christian mission. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
