The Self Install team is a fast-paced and dynamic team within Bell Field Services. The team’s mandate is to work with Bell stakeholders across different business units to drive the evolution and the success of the Self Install program, which represents one of the key priorities for the business in the coming years.

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and disciplined individual to join our growing team. The Business Analyst will conduct analysis, perform investigations and generate business insights to ensure the program is on track. In this role, you will have the opportunity to communicate your analytical findings on trends, risks and opportunities to executive upper management. You will also drive significant process improvements, be involved in change management and execute on key reporting initiatives.


Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Exercise leading edge analytics skills by performing deep dives and investigations to proactively understand issues related to Self Install
  • Design, track and interpret key performance indicators driving the Self Install program strategy and success
  • Analyze complex cross functional business processes and identify opportunities to improve Self Install take rate, success rate and eligibility rate through process and systems enhancements
  • Recommend and establish action plans based on such indicators/models to mitigate risks and optimize the program’s performance for Field Services
  • Develop reporting/ packages to provide high level strategic views of business performance and communicate it to stakeholders across different business units
  • Build partnerships with leadership teams in Field Services, Sales, Supply Chain, BI, etc.
  • Co-ordinate with the program manager to give visibility on trends impacting initiatives in the governance pipeline and to provide regular updates on current and upcoming work items in an agile environment


Essential Skills / Competencies:

  • University degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Highly analytical mind and solid understanding of the basic principles of working with data and cubes
  • Demonstrated application of a wide range of analytical techniques to solve a variety of business problems
  • Knowledge of, and preferably experience with leveraging visualization and data mining techniques and tools
  • Must be proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (i.e. peers, team members, executives, and clients)
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint with ability to quickly build a clear presentation for an executive audience that graphically explains issues and opportunities
  • Deadline driven with excellent project and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self driven, dynamic and results-oriented with desire to influence and promote change


Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Familiarity with telecommunications industry
  • Strong preference for experience in Field Operations and/or Network
  • Experience with database systems such as SAS, SQL server, Teradata, Oracle
  • Experience with reporting tools as Power BI
  • Business Analyst training and/or certification
