RCC is looking for a Data Analyst (Intern) to work remotely and out of our Toronto Head Office. This position will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Solutions.
The Data Analyst (Intern) is an entry level position responsible for providing data entry and support for Retail Council of Canada’s IT team. This internship is provided through the Canada Summer Jobs program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data entry
- Assist with the maintenance of database
- Run reports, data queries, and database analysis for users
- Troubleshoot and resolve encountered problems
- Test and maintain data integrity
- Interface with IT Support Team to perform basic system administration tasks
- Work on other projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive)
- A Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Dynamics 365 (CRM)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and prioritization
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Assets:
- Knowledge of the retail industry
- Experience with data entry
- Experience with IT systems administration
- French proficiency
