Monster Crew Leaders are responsible to direct and supervise a group of snowfighters in the effective cleaning and deicing of personal roads, parking area, driveways, walkways, sidewalks, steps, etc. You will be designated a list of sites in Toronto, for which you will stay responsible throughout the whole winter season. You will likewise be responsible to collaborate support tasks such as upkeep, product shipment and equipping, quality control troubleshooting, personnel scheduling, and so on. This position needs the effective applicant to work on an on-call basis with irregular hours, typically overnight, so an open schedule is a must. Applicants must be available and committed to work on very brief notice, at all times of the day and night, as dictated by the weather condition and functional reaction requirements.

Job Summary

  • Private Property Snow Removal Operations Team Leader
  • Implement supervisory directions for successful performance of company-wide objectives
  • Direct big team of snowfighters to effectively complete directives as needed
  • Winter Contract (Nov-Apr) with chance for Full-Time Yearly Management Position
  • On-call 24 hours each day, 7 days each week with regular day-to-day duties
  • $27-$35 per hour, based on experience
  • Between 20-30 hours per week guaranteed
  • Qualified for seasonal performance bonus offer
  • Usage of company lorry for period of agreement
  • Need to live within a maximum of 45 minutes driving range from our Toronto Equipment Yard

Task Duties

  • Minimum of 3 years business snow removal experience, with experience in a managerial or supervisory function thought about a property
  • Minimum high school diploma, college diploma preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of insured driving experience with a G-level license
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract (one small violation is fine)
  • Excellent winter driving abilities with any type of automatic transmission vehicle, frequently in tight or narrow quarters
  • Great spoken and written interpersonal interaction abilities
  • Outstanding knowledge of consumer innovation (Windows PC, Microsoft Office, Android Tablet, GPS Unit, Smart Phone)

Job Requirements

  • Maintain intimate knowledge of company-wide objectives and instructions, and remain personally devoted to support the demands, needs and requirements of the whole Monster team at all times
  • Direct and manage medium to big crews (10-25 people) while ensuring all assigned responsibilities are performed properly and safely at all times throughout each shift
  • Monitor the efficiency of regular equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as changing car fluids, fueling, greasing, painting, etc.
  • Supervise and direct crews while making sure all appointed responsibilities are carried out properly and safely at all times throughout each shift
  • Adhere to and impose all safety precautions, operational procedures, instructions, rules, policies, and policies
  • Make sure all crew members are following guidelines and instructions at all times
  • Assist with personnel training and staffing coordination as required
  • Help with quality control services and client communications as required
  • Operate pickup truck mounted snowplow and spreader to get rid of ice and snow from personal properties as needed. This requires morning or late night begins, extended hours, and week-end responsibility including holidays
