Title: Inside Sales Representative, Bell Media
The successful candidate would be a self-motivated individual with a fearless can-do attitude and a passion for sales (particularly new business development) who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career. This position will concentrate on the development of new business while perfecting his or her own existing knowledge and skills with respect to multi media platform selling. Typical responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
- Contacting decision makers in the Toronto retail market and conducting thorough diagnostic interviews with targeted new accounts
- High volume cold calling
- Develop prospecting opportunities by researching qualified businesses within qualified Categories – identify decision makers within qualified leads
- Build and maintain a prospect database
- Create and deliver qualified leads to the existing sales team – ultimate goal of securing needs analysis meetings for Account Executives
- Required to know the advertising products inside and out – have a very clear and persuasive 30 second elevator pitch on each product, and the overall platforms
- Respond to all call-ins, and email requests from prospective clients
- Aspirations to become the next Account Executive on the team (succession planning)
- Participate in weekly meetings as required, and provide weekly call planning and reporting as required
- Work within the business’ core values of Integrity, Creativity, Respect and Teamwork
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Sales or Marketing, or a related field is a definite asset
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales-related field in a similar size market, with a focus on new business development and proven track record of achievement and increasing sales
- Demonstrated success in handling and influencing key decision makers
- Must possess strategic skills for prospecting key accounts and handling a high volume of cold calling
- Strong negotiating skills and public speaking skills are a must
- Highly self motivated with a sense of priority. Creative and solution oriented
- Dependable, energetic and highly organized

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
