Foremost Universal has an instant opening for a Labourer located at our north center in Lloydminster, AB
Responsibilities:
- Assist operators in metal working department
- Forming materials for fuel tanks (Flanging head, Rolling shells, and so on)
- Stock parts on shelves
- Choose parts for tasks
- Minor pipeline fitting jobs
- Help Welders
- Run Overhead Crane in a safe manner
- Follow existing requirements and treatments
- Report disparities to instant supervisor
- Shop clean up
- General jobs that enhance store flow and function
- Performs other tasks related to his/her classification
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding, construction illustrations, and material handling
- Previous experience with CNC plasma table, brake & & plate rolls a property however will train the best prospect
- Able to carry out repeated heavy lifting of as much as 50 pounds
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
- Good organizational, time management and focusing on abilities
- Strong work ethic and positive team mindset
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Security Training an asset, but will train as needed
This work is carried out in a combination of environments and may be exposed to components such as sound, dust, odours, fumes and oils.
Shift work may be required at times as well.
