This position is primarily an application analysis, training, consulting and client development role that
may be based in our head office in Toronto or potentially a home office. The role involves a significant
amount of travel to visit clients and attend industry events, meetings and training sessions at our
corporate offices and other locations throughout North America and Europe. In addition to performing
the primary analysis and consulting tasks, this position will work extensively with sales and marketing
teams and requires strong client relationship skills.
Responsibilities
Work with clients to analyze client server environments and develop effective modernization
strategies and project plans.
Maintain knowledge of industry, market trends and sector activity.
Participate in ongoing development, product management and planning efforts.
Achieve and maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in current Java and .NET
technologies.
Work closely with internal support and project management teams to ensure a high level of
client satisfaction and project success.
Participate in industry events and associations, and attend seminars, classes and training to gain
further knowledge in modernization best practices.
Take on special assignments as requested by senior management.
Required Skills
4‐year University degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
10+ years of consulting and systems development background with significant experience in
large systems.
Strong presentation and client relationship skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated confidence and comfort in front of an audience.
Ability to be positive and proactive under a wide range of client situations.
Must be a team player who creates a positive working environment and strives to be a leader.
Able to use prior experience to assess client’s existing practices and processes, analyze
requirements and develop effective recommendations for successful modernization solutions.
Ability to comfortably communicate and work with IT personnel on client server application,
database, systems and related technical issues.
