At the Paddle Station, we are dedicated to providing an exciting and unforgettable experience for our Paddlers and Paddle Station Crew.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Daily loading, delivering and offloading rafts and kayaks on Pickup Truck and 20 foot enclosed trailer to and from Paddle Station locations
  • Coordinate equipment rentals, i.e. kayaks, rafts and safety equipment
  • Assemble and provide kayaks, rafts and safety equipment to paddlers
  • Be a Brand Ambassador for The Paddle Station
  • Contribute to the team’s success by achieving monthly sales targets
  • Provide each customer with an exceptional experience by developing strong relationships and meeting customer needs
  • Report any damages or wear and tear of all equipment to the Team Lead or Manager
  • Paddle Station site area clean up
  • Cleaning the shuttle van daily, so the bus is ready for use the next shift driver
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Crew Captain, GM

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Must possess a valid clean Class 5 or Class 1 drivers license
  • 1 year experience driving with a double axle trailer or RV
  • Clean driving record (must show proof of clean driving record) — > please upload them with this application
  • Excellent Customer Service skills with a solid understanding of guest service principles.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. (i.e. kayaks and rafts).
  • Motivated to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Able to effectively multitask; must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Neat and clean in appearance with an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to adapt and accept direction in a dynamic environment with changing demands
  • Must meet insurance requirements for a driver
  • Knowledge of Calgary and surrounding areas
  • Hours and days worked may vary based on guest demand and weather

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

To keep crew safe we have physical barriers, sanitation processes and training. All staff wear masks when physical distancing is not possible.
