The Sales Associate will be accountable for supporting the Store Leadership Team to achieve all business goals and efforts. The Sales Associate will model and preserve exceptional client service with reliable interaction, item knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques. The Sales Associate will keep business requirements of all merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing while keeping a new and tidy store and backroom.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Be mindful of consumer activity and respond with a sense of seriousness, prioritizing helping customers over other tasks
  • Greet and acknowledge consumers while providing the proper level of service
  • Effectively communicate worth and quality of our merchandise while sharing our current promos and provide options for “out of stock” items when essential
  • Exercise sound judgment in effectively resolving consumer issues
  • Demonstrate the proper level of selling abilities to positively impact conversion
  • Provide quick, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap while informing customers on the advantage of the PLACE Card
  • Maintain suitable stock levels and ensure that all sizes and styles are represented
  • Follow business standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and show
  • Support and maintain a cool, clean, and organized warehouse while sticking to a consumer ready environment, and adhering to security requirements
  • Perform daily housekeeping responsibilities to business basic
  • Guarantee business properties by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention treatments
  • Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility requires immediately to ensure that customers and associates are supplied a clean and safe environment
  • Contribute focused, well-managed efforts towards accomplishment of store goals
  • Exhibit versatility by processing stock when needed

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or comparable
  • Previous retail experience chosen
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Skills and Behaviors:

  • Excellent client engagement
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in group environment
  • Must be adaptable and versatile to altering top priorities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet service needs, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts
  • Ability to steer on sales floor and stockroom; climb ladder, lift and bring approximately 50 lbs
