Job Purpose

Reporting to Superintendent, Water Solutions, the Water Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe operations and maintenance of solids, waste management and heavy equipment, and ensuring that the water treatment operations align with all appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures.

The successful candidate will be a driven individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, someone that can innovate, inspire, and collaborate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair and operation of Secure’s custom-built mobile water treatment equipment
  • Optimize equipment and troubleshoot for deficiencies on a continuous basis
  • Accurately collect and compile data for reporting to stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze samples
  • Calibrate equipment as per operating manual requirements
  • Interpret results and adjust equipment according to the lab results
  • Other related duties as requested

Qualifications/Competencies

The individual in this role will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for this position
  • Able to build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization is essential, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Prior equipment operating experience
  • Valid industry safety tickets is desired (H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance and CSTS). Secure Energy will provide training to the successful candidate
  • Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office software
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and suggest workable solutions
  • Proven leadership abilities and exemplary customer service skills
  • Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines with multiple priorities
  • Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation
  • Candidates must be able to work overtime with a flexibility to travel. Ability to work shifts (depending on client requirements) for up to several weeks at a time
